Rob started sailing in his early twenties and has been the proud owner of Aurora since 2021. He holds an RYA Yachmaster off-shore accreditation with a Commercial Endorsement. Logging over 5,000 nautical miles primarily in and around the Solent, Rob has also completed many longer passages to the Channel Islands, Brittany, Normandy, the West Country, and the Scillies. Rob's primary occupation is flying as a Training Captain for British Airways on long-haul routes to cities including Cape Town, Vancouver, Tokyo and Los Angeles. In his training role, he also holds Instructor and Examiner accreditation - safe travel and adventure, both on the water and in the air, are very much in his blood!
